This trade had better go to a voting of the twenty-nine possessors of the Hornets.
Over the next 3 flavours this business deal would save the Lakers approximately $twenty million in earningses and approximately $twenty-one a million in luxury taxations. That $twenty-one a million goes to non-taxpaying teams up and to investment company revenue sharing.
I don't remember ever seeing a craft where a team has got by far the best player in the trade and saved over 40 million dollars in the process. And it seems that would have given up any draft choices, which could afford to make later a trade for Dwight Howard. (They also get an exception of big business that would help them to improve their team and/or end trade for Howard). When the Lakers got Pau Gasol (at the time considered an extremely lopsided trade) have taken on tens of millions of additional salary and luxury tax and gave a series of perspectives (one in Marc Gasol, who can become a player for max-salary).
Don't really see how we can allow this trade happen.
I know that the vast majority of owners feel the same way I do.
