Chris Paul Can Still go to Los Angeles: On nowadays soap opera house installation of "As the basketball game Turns", it appears as if the trade in talkings betwixt the clipper ship* and Hornets are not completely "dead" and something in reality could be finalized by the end of nowadays according to ESPN NBA psychoanalyst Chris Broussard. Keep your finger's breadth* and toenails crossed.
Negotiations did fall apart yesterday, GM Neil Olshey as L.A. claimed that the League owned by Hornets franchise was demanding too much in exchange for CP3. New Orleans was reportedly demanding that the Clippers to part with Eric Gordon, Eric Bledsoe, Chris Kaman, Al-Farouq Aminu and Minnesota unprotected 2012 pick first-round draft picks in exchange for point guard Hornets All-star. While none of their players are familiar names, like Paul, the prospect of separation with 2 guys in Gordon and Bledsoe, as well as a potential # 1 overall pick next year was simply too steep a price for the Clippers.
We're still not sure what L.A. would be dealing in New Orleans in new negotiations, but the Clippers are certainly still interested to get Paul.
Meanwhile CP3 has practiced with New Orleans Alario Center since training camp opened on Friday, but has not spoken to the media. Things should get even more interesting in this fact fiction if there is no agreement made by tomorrow ... when the Hornest host their media day. Normally all players speak with journalists on media day.
Oh and the first preseason game is Friday at Memphis against the Grizzlies, and I haven't could tell you New Orleans starting 5.
